Overview
Located on a large bend of the wide Blackwood River, the Alexandra Bridge Campground and day-use area features gas barbecues, a swimming platform, a boat ramp, fishing, shelter, toilets and cold showers. There are about 15 camp sites amongst the Peppermint trees with picnic tables and fireplaces. Firewood is provided. Camping fees apply. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times.
Camp kitchen, laundry facilities, hot water, power and chemical dump point are NOT provided.
Bookings are not taken for the camping ground. The caretaker will regularly collect fees from campers. The fee is $10 per adult and $5 for children (2-14 years).
