A fine example of heritage listed inter-war neo-classical architecture. The Old Courthouse Gallery provides a stylish venue for exhibitions sourced regionally & Australia wide. The judicial complex dates from 1860-61 with original courtroom and police station, nine primitive gaol cells, horse stables and a bond store once linked to the jetty by tramline so that precious goods could be dispatched from ship to store on horse-drawn wagons. The Bond Store is now a retail outlet for South West arts and crafts where visitors can purchase fine woodcraft, jewellery, ceramics, glass, paintings, photography, textiles and other hand-made objects produced in the region. The Old Post Office is now a tea rooms.
