Boranup Beach, Boranup, Western Australia, Australia

Boranup Beach is one of the longest beaches in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. It starts at Hamelin Bay and spans north for 7.8 km. The southern end (accessed from Hamelin Bay – as marked by the map pin) is the best area for swimming. As you head north, the wave energy increases. The northern part of the beach sometimes has good surf and can be accessed via 4-wheel drive tracks (see the surfing listings in this guide). Toilets are located at Hamelin Bay near the boat ramp.
