Busselton Beach

Busselton, Western Australia, Australia

The beach extends both sides of the Busselton Jetty at the centre of Busselton. It usually offers safe and sheltered swimming conditions, protected from the waves of the west coast by Cape Naturaliste. A wide foreshore reserve with bike path backs most of the beach. Near the Busselton Jetty there are change rooms, toilets, a cafe and shop, and a smaller jetty area that encloses a section of the water creating an “ocean swimming pool”. There is a shark net in summer.

A Beach Trekker wheelchair is available at the Equinox Cafe and can be booked free of charge. Bookings can be made by calling The Equinox on (08) 9752 4641. Disabled toilets are also available here.

Dogs are allowed on several sections of the beach; east of the jetty between Ford Road and Morgan Street and west of the jetty between Margaret Street and Dolphin Road. There are other areas open to dogs – follow the web link below for more information.
