Cowaramup

Cowaramup, Western Australia, Australia

Website

The town of Cowaramup (population of about 1200 people, but lots more cows), is located in the center of the Margaret River Region and is home to several quaint shops, bakeries and cafes. It’s worth a stop for an hour or two to have a wander around its cow-themed streets. Take your photo with some of the nearly life-sized fiberglass cows that line the streets and parks (there are 42 in total). Cowaramup is the current world record holder for greatest number of people dressed up as cows (1352) at one time. Lions Park, at the south end of town, has barbecues, toilets and lots of grass for a picnic or rest. Disabled/wheelchair access toilets are located at the Cowaramup Hall, on Hall Road across from the Bakery.
