Injidup

Injidup Beach, Cape Clairault Road, Yallingup, Western Australia, Australia

This beautiful west-facing beach is somewhat protected from southerly winds by Injidup point. The viewing platform near the car park is a stunning place to watch surfers or the sunset. Injidup is a popular surf beach as well as a lovely quiet swimming spot. The casual 20-minute walk to the end of the rocky headland is recommended.

The right-hand reef-break below the car park breaks on swells between 1.8 to 3 m. This classic A-frame wave suits intermediate to advanced surfers. The south end of the bay hosts the Injidup Point Break. This left-hand break is best on swell of 2 to 3.5 m, medium tides and offshore winds. Being protected by the headland, Injidup Point is one of the few surf breaks that is relatively offshore with southerly winds. Well worth the 20-minute walk along the beach from the car park and out to the point when it is breaking.

Stairs from the car park lead down to the beach. Toilets are available at the car park.
