Est 1987 in Yallingup, John Streater is a designer and master craftsman of bespoke timber furniture made from local hardwood timbers such as Jarrah, Marri and Blackbutt. John is recognised worldwide for his original designs and traditional construction methods using dovetails, etc. John’s furniture can be shipped interstate or overseas. John mainly works by a commission as he hand-builds each piece to his client’s specifications. Our clients receive updates and photos throughout the construction stages so they have a greater understanding of the process from start to finish. His furniture has a hand-carved Jarrah leaf inlaid into the piece, which is John’s signature. We also showcase art, wood turning and glass at our gallery. Open 10am to 4pm.
