Margaret River to Augusta Loop

Boranup, Western Australia, Australia

This rolling 115 km loop has a total elevation gain of 1200 meters. It can be ridden in either direction. It follows quiet paved roads interspersed with busier main roads. The western half of the loop is along the beautiful Caves Road, passing through the stunning Boranup Forest. The eastern half follows minor roads through farmland and forests, with a few sections on busier roads like Bussell Highway.

There are two good addition to the route. In Augusta you can continue to ride south then west until you get to the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse. This is the most southern point of the region. The second addition is to ride up to the Augusta golf course. You’ll gain another 200 vertical meters over 2 km!
